Overview
MI-FLEX accessories 1mm 316 stainless steel is a premium range of heavy duty fittings made using 1mm 316 stainless steel. This family of installation fitting has been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney

General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood <20% moisture, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

Bottom Fixings
Bottom fixings are used to make the transitional change from the connecting flue system to the Flexible flue liner. The connection to the flex should be made inside the confines of the existing masonry chimney and no flex should be on show at any time. Provisions must me made to secure the bottom fixing into the connecting flue below and the flexible above to make a gas tight seal, The use of fire cement, ceramic rope or tape or high temperature sealant its advisable.
