The Register Plate Adaptor is installed at the base of the chimney. It has a 150mm connection on the underside of the plate to fit into vitreous / stove pipe. The connection above the 300mm x 300mm plate has a 150mm adaptor to connect directly to your flue liner. Ideally, the 300 x 300 plate will be fixed to the top side of a register plate.
Used in conjunction with a Register Plate, allows the flue liner to be installed and the dirty chimney work to be finished, leaving a connection for the appliance visible.
The register plate adaptor is installed at the base of the chimney either above or below a register plate. The connection above the plate allows flue liner to be connected, secure with self tapping screws, fill the gaps with fire cement or high temperature sealant. The adaptors plate should then be screwed to the register plate, apply some heat resistant silicone so that register plate and the adaptor becomes air tight. The connection on the underside of the plate will fit into vitreous / stove pipe.
