The newest addition to the Ecofan family, the Airmax Model 812 produces the highest airflow over a wider range of stove surface temperatures.
The Ecofan circulates warm air throughout the room which increases the user's comfort. These fans are designed to sit on top of a freestanding wood or pellet stove. The Ecofan generates its own electricity without cords or batteries.
The Ecofan starts automatically when placed on top of a stove and adjusts its speed with the stove temperature. As the stove heats up, the Ecofan runs faster. As the stove burns down and cools, the Ecofan automatically shuts off.

All Ecofans are warranted to be free from any manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
Should an Ecofan become defective or fail to operate under normal conditions within this 2 year period, you must in the first instance email email@example.com advising which model you have; the serial number of your unit (found on the underside of the top casting); when and from where you purchased the item and details of the fault you are experiencing.
If subsequently instructed to return the item then this should be sent, with a copy of the warranty notification email and a copy of the original invoice or cash register slip, to the UK Ecofan distributor Calfire Spareline Ltd at the following address:
Calfire Spareline Ltd
Please note that you must email firstname.lastname@example.org before returning any Ecofan to them.
Should the unit fail after the warranty period a full refurbishment service is available. Send your fan to the UK distributors Calfire at the following address:
Calfire Spareline Ltd.,
Once received Calfire will produce a refurbishment report and quotation and forward this to you by email or post. If you are happy with the quotation you will be asked to provide your payment details and your Ecofan will then be refurbished. The fan will be tested prior to being returned.
Occasionally units that have been subjected to extreme heat will be beyond repair.
Should you decide not to proceed with the repair, or the fan is beyond repair, a small postage charge will be requested to pay for the fans return or the fan will be disposed of.
Refurbished units are covered for a full 1 year from the date you receive them back.
The refurbished unit warranty conditions are the same as for new units.
The Ecofan 812 works well and starts to revolve quite soon after lighting the stove,a good buy so far and quickly supplied.
Excellent eco-fan, I strongly suggest you invest in one. We currently have two that asist in heating the whole ground floor and take the chill off the first floor. Our property is an old farm house, solid walls, nooks and cranies etc. If you are looking to save on fuel bills this is the way to go.

Great inprovement over previous model A statement on the box suggests a 14 percent saving on fuel, I believe this to be greater and over our previous model the 812 has raised our room temperature by 4 degrees C, but also a very even temperature throughout the large room. Excellent company to deal with, fast dekivery.

Good Product It really works well -- pumping warm air around the house. One slight niggle -- my wood burner is very narrow so the unit fouls the flue pipe so I have to place it diagonally at the back -- it does not seem to impact its performance though.
Beautiful fan Simple and beautiful fan. It simply sits on top of the log burner and spins happily circulating air in the room.
A friend who recommended this fan has measurably reduced his fuel consumption by 70%. I haven't measured how much I save, but it will be lots!

Excellent We borrowed the previous version of this and were very impressed. Initial one arrived faulty but was replaced rapidly without a problem. It distributes the heat that normally rises to the ceiling and creates a more even pleasant heat in the livingroom and remainder of the house.

Good performance I was somewhat surprised that this actually works! In an old farm cottage, it pushes the air through the hallway and there is a marked difference to the bedroom temperature.

A good purchase The fan works really well. We can feel the difference the minute it starts to turn. It reduces the tempreture of the brickwork around the burner and pushes the heat out into the room all in all a good purchase.
The Ecofan was a Xmas present for my daughter and she is very pleased with it. She uses it on her Rayburn wood burning cooker.
