Brewer Birdguard - Aluminium - Solid Fuel - Terracotta

Price: 26.00  RRP £47.28 (Including VAT at 20%)

Availability:

The Brewer Birdguard chimney cowl is designed to prevent birds and debris from entering your chimney. It achieves this with the use of a wired mesh designed to prevent unwanted entry into your system whilst also allowing smoke and fumes to be exhausted efficiently. Fitted with an integral rain hat, the Brewer Birdguard chimney cowl has the added advantage of minimising rain entry helping to prevent internal structural decay.

For use with appliances fired by oil or solid fuel. Also suitable for disused chimneys.

Features
Stops birds and other vermin immediately
Integral raincap reduces rain entry and subsequent structural damage caused by the freeze/thaw cycle
Fits live or dead chimneys
Powder coated finish.
Instant simple secure fixing with three adjustable legs and strap band (included)
Fits 150mm-250mm (6 inch to 10 inch) flue sizes

Fixing Method
This chimney cowl uses a strap band fixing method, considered to be the most secure method of fixing chimney cowls in the industry.

Three legs are integral to the cowl, and a stainless steel band (like a large jubilee clip) secures the cowl to the chimney pot. The bottom ends of the straps are then unturned to complete the installation.

The strap band fixings are included with this cowl.

Customer Reviews

Very Popular Cowl  The Brewer Birdguard is the most popular of the static chimney cowls. It's super simple to install as the legs come already attached to the cowl. Highly recommended.   (09/05/2011) fluesystems.com - High Wycombe

Look Great  I have a 500 year old farm house and was worried how they would look. The birdguards were fitted to all 4 chimneys and after painting the fixing bands terracotta they blended in well.   (06/10/2011) Mike - Bedford

A doddle to fit  The birdguard arrived within two days, and I was delighted that it only took 10 mins to fit. The colouring is great with terracotta chimney pots, and apart from detering birds, the birdguard is also good for stopping squirrels coming down the flue.   (02/11/2011) Mike Stanton - Shrewsbury
