Certainly Wood has just become the
first company to have its firewood
production approved under the
Solid Biomass Assurance
Scheme operated by
registration body HETAS. |
In order to
provide you with the best wood, our firewood
logs have been chopped and stored in barns
for several months and then just to make
sure the logs are really dry, they are then
put into a drying machine. All the excess
moisture is taken out for you, which means
you only burn the wood and its wood resins
i.e. the best bit, which gives you all the
heat and means you use less wood. It also
means you don't waste energy in burning off
all the excess moisture.
