The Rotorvent Ultralite is the latest addition to the Rotorvent range. It's lighter, thanks to an aluminium globe, which also enables it to operate at wind speeds up to 100mph. Suitable for use with appliances fired by gas, oil, wood, coal etc. Not for use with smokeless fuels (these can corrode the aluiminium fins). Reduced cost packaging makes this a top quality and great value revolving cowl. The strap fixing kit is included as standard.
Fits 180-250mm internal diameter pots. A
Colt Cowl Adaptor Plate is required for 180mm diameter.
Note:- Revolving chimney cowls are not a magic solution to all chimney draught problems. Their main function is to cure downdraught. Do not expect them to solve other draught issues with your chimney.

Bungalows & Short Flues Do not use any revolving cowl on a bungalow or short flue. The cowl will sieze because of the excess temperature, and you will not be covered under guarantee.Wood If you intend burning wood when using a revolving cowl, please note that it must be well seasoned or kiln dried. Residues from damp wood will clog any revolving cowl, and you will not be covered under guarantee.High Winds High wind areas can be a problem for revolving chimney cowls, and we therefore generally do not recommend their use in coastal areas or areas where there are regular high winds.
