The Montfort Elegance has a 5kW output and a powerful airwash to ensure the glass stays clean. The Montfort Elegance is a more contemporary design to the Franco Belge Montfort Classic model with a larger glass panel for a better view of the fire and it is less decorative in it’s styling.

The Montfort Elegance has a vermiculite lined firebox to give a higher efficiency and brighter interior. This model has the ability to take it’s combustion air directly from the outside of the property and into the appliance which can prove very helpful if incorporating this stove into a new build property.

This model has now been DEFRA approved, meaning that you can burn wood in smoke controlled zones on this stove when the DEFRA kit is added to the stove prior to installation.

This 5 year warranty covers all stove castings, it does not include consumable items such as glass and door seals. This full warranty is only honoured when the stove is purchased from a Franco Belge recommended retailer, like us.

  Brilliant stove  I am really glad I went for this one and not a larger one as intended, the salesman was right that it produces more than enough heat and the duct makes it very easy to light and control, cleaning is easy too.   Lovely stove  I love this stove, it is beautiful to look at and belts out lots of heat, but can be controlled quite easily with the damper. The glass does get dirty but is easily cleaned with one of the cleaning pads supplied. I tried once with scrunched up newspaper which seemed to work just as well!    -

  Excellent but....  The stove does what it says however the airwash (clear glass) system doesn't live up to what its supposed to do. During & after a burning the glass becomes discoloured with soot which I have to clean off with a mixture of water & vinegar the following day.
