Description

The spark arrester (spark guard) has a fine wire mesh to catch debris which is still alight and a second outer mesh to slow the gases down. This allows the debris to self extinguish.

Specialist Chimney Cowl Pleae check with you local fire service before installing a spark arrester. Some recommend them and others don't. The mesh on them is really quite small, so they will need regular cleaning to prevent blockage. Great for stopping part lit debris from escaping your chimney stack. fluesystems.com - High Wycombe
