The Aspiromatic is a spinning cowl and ventilator, designed to cure the problems associated with downdraught. It is suitable for use with appliances burning all types of fuel; oil, gas, coal, wood. Stainless steel construction. Hook bolt fixing method.

Note:- Revolving chimney cowls are not a magic solution to all chimney draught problems. Their main function is to cure downdraught. Do not expect them to solve other draught issues with your chimney.
We will not issue refunds for revolving chimney cowls where our warnings have not been adhered to.
The Aspiromatic is constructed from materials to resist attack from chemical agents which may be present in the burnt gases and the atmosphere.
It comprises:-
A stainless steel support fitted with stainless screws which adapts easily to all types of chimney top.
A pivot, mounted on ball bearings specially designed to resist extremes of temperature; the system is enclosed in a watertight area and protected by an oil seal.
A rotating body composing an assembly of stainless steel helicoidal blades, each blade riveted to the circular base frame
Bungalows & Short Flues
Do not use any revolving cowl on a bungalow or short flue. The cowl will sieze because of the excess temperature, and you will not be covered under guarantee.
Wood
If you intend burning wood when using a revolving cowl, please note that it must be well seasoned or kiln dried. Residues from damp wood will clog any revolving cowl, and you will not be covered under guarantee.
High Winds
High wind areas can be a problem for revolving chimney cowls, and we therefore generally do not recommend their use in coastal areas or areas where there are regular high winds.
