Hoods
Standard gather
hoods are designed for chimney liner installations
only. The base of the gather measures 300mm x
300mm and they incorporate an adaptor liner to
pipe at the top.
They are supplied with a mesh at
the base on all four sides. They are available to
order online for chimney liner diameters from
5" (125mm) to 10" (250mm). |

Made to Order
Gather Hoods
Our "made to order" chimney gathers are
manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel and
can be made to whatever size you require. Every
gather is made to your exact requirements.
Top
connection
These gathers are commonly installed when fitting
a chimney liner into an open fireplace. When this
is the case, they are manufactured with an
integral adaptor to the chimney liner, as shown in
image 2 and 3 above. Alternatively, you can
specify a plain circular or square spigot at the
top, as shown in image 1 above.
Fixing
There are various ways to fix the gather in place.
You can specify to have horizontal or vertical
flanges on some or all of the sides of the canopy.
Additionally, these can be mesh flanges if the
gather is being built in, or solid if the gather
will be screwed into the fireplace.
