Multi Fuel Chimney Liner A twin skin flexible chimney
liner, used for lining masonry chimney stacks.
This chimney liner is available in two different
grades of stainless steel. 316 grade is for gas,
oil, coal, coke, cured dry logs and cured dry
peat. 904 grade is also suitable for use with
smokeless fuels. More information on multi
fuel chimney liner is available
here.
Adaptor
Chimney Liner to Pipe
Used to connect the
flexible chimney liner to rigid pipe at the base of the stack. The
chimney liner
sits between the two skins shown on the top of the adaptor. This
prevents snagging and reduces the pressure on this joint during
sweeping.
Increaser
Chimney Liner to Pipe
Used to connect the flexible chimney liner to a 1" smaller diameter
rigid pipe at the base of the stack. These are user particularly
when burning wood only on a stove with a 125mm
(5") outlet, as building regulations state
that a minimum 150mm (6") diameter is
required for the chimney in this case.
Chimney
Liner Suspending Cowls The
Suspending Cowl is the one piece solution to
fixing a chimney liner at the top end. It allows
for the chimney liner to be installed without
removing the chimney pot. We offer 3 different
versions of chimney liner suspending cowl, more
information on which can be found
here.
Chimney
Liner Suspending
Adaptor
The Suspending Adaptor allows the chimney liner to be installed without
removing the pot. The adaptor slides inside the top end of the
chimney liner and the shroud sits on top of the pot. Includes
straps to attach the liner to the adaptor and
also straps to attach the adaptor to the
pot.
Chimney
Liner Closure
Plate
A stainless steel closure
plate measuring 15"x15" with a central hole just
slightly larger than the outer diameter of the flexible chimney liner.
This plate sits at the top of the stack and, used in conjunction
with a Top Clamp, provides the support required.
Chimney
Liner Top
Clamp
The top clamp is used at the
top of the stack in conjunction with a closure plate, providing
the support required. For a really solid finish, use a chimney
liner top sleeve as well.
Chimney
Liner Top
Sleeve
The top sleeve slides inside the flexible chimney liner at the top of the
installation and is used together with the
closure plate and top clamp. It provides rigid
internal support for the top clamp when clamping
the liner. This item is not used with the
suspending adaptor fixing method.
Chimney
Liner Bottom Support Bracket The chimney
liner bottom support bracket is used to support
the chimney liner at the base of the masonry
stack. The
bracket clamps around the chimney liner and has
two stays to attach to the masonry stack wall.
Standard
Cowl - Clamped Provides rain protection at
the top of the stack. This cowl has a clamped fixing system, which
grips tightly around the chimney liner as it protrudes through the closure
plate. It's recommended to use this cowl with the closure plate,
top clamp and top sleeve fixing method; where
there is no clay chimney pot.
Chimney
Liner Nose
Cone
The nose cone is used
during installation and then discarded. Attached to the leading
end of the chimney liner it helps prevent snagging against the side of the
stack and also provides a draw cord from which the liner can be
guided down. Please note that not all manufacturers provide draw
cords, so you may need to supply your own (nylon
string and a washer).
Chimney Liner Gather
Hoods
For open fire installations, you will need a
gather hood at the base of the stack. Standard
gathers are available to order online, and
special can be manufactured to order. They are
manufactured in 316 grade stainless steel More
information on chimney liner gather hoods is
available
here.
Chimney
Liner Insulation
We offer two options
for insulating your chimney liner. Chimney liner
insulation jackets are used in large area
stacks, and Micafil is used in smaller area
stacks.
More information on chimney liner insulation,
including a volume calculator, is available
here.
