Description
Negarra MD Plus is a high quality, prefabricated chimney system suitable for
solid fuel, oil and gas fired appliances. The inner wall
is manufactured in stainless steel grade 316 and the
outer wall is manufactured in stainless steel 304. The
system has 25mm of high density insulation.

Technical
Characteristics
Optimal round section - MD Plus has been designed to meet
different installation requirements, in order to minimise charge
losses and facilitate the correct draft of the system, even at the
most adverse working conditions.
Low internal rugosity - The MD Plus contributes with a
minimum friction coefficient to an optimal working of the chimney,
avoiding unnecessary flue gas resistance to the movement.
Resistance to corrosion - The MD Plus outer is manufactured
in AISI 304 stainless steel whilst the inner is manufactured in
AISI 316 stainless steel. These materials provide both resistance
to corrosion and the most effective evacuation of combustion
products.
Low thermal inertia - Stainless steel is the best material
available for the manufacture of prefabricated chimney systems.
The small total mass, combined with the facility for heat absorption,
allow stainless steel to quickly reach the high conduction
temperatures required for efficient evacuation of combustion
gasses.
Water tightness - MD Plus components are completely water
tight against steam diffusion. This avoids insulation moisture
problems between the inner and the outer wall. Note:-
This is not the case with open ended systems
or systems where the inner is not fully welded.
Thermal insulation - Insulation reduces the cooling
of combustion products, keeping the optimal temperature and
achieving the correct performance of the appliance. The insulation
between the outer and inner walls ensures a strong draft at the
start of firing to minimise condensation, as well as to facilitate
a lower external surface temperature of the product.
