For
Solar Installations on Slate or Tiled Roofs
Solar installations often require a flexible flashing, to provide a
weather sealing for inlet and outlet pipes and electrical services
protruding through them. Aquarius pipe flashings are manufactured from
rubber compounds of the highest quality, which are durable even in
aggressive environments and able to withstand ultra-violet rays, insect
or fungi attack, acid rain or moisture, over a wide temperature range.
The flexible materials maintain a weatherproof seal allowing for pipe
movement due to expansion, contraction or vibration.
The manufacturers state that under normal weather conditions Aquarius
pipe flashings have a life expectancy in excess of 20 years.

To
Suit Hot or Cold Pipes
Aquarius solar pipe flashings are available in either EPDM or Silicone
rubber materials. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) suits
cold pipes, whereas Silicone rubber (available in black or red) can withstand ultra high
temperatures. |
