Description
The flue boost is a box shape unit with in line spigots for
the flue connection, a pressure switch to ensure safe operation, and
plug in electrical fittings for easy connection, all within a
compact package.
Capacities and Ranges
The Flue Boost 150 will handle flue gases at up to 200 degrees C
and boilers with heat outputs up to 150,000 Btu/h; 44Kw. If
fitting to a gas fire consult the manufacturer first. |

Motor Cooling
The motor is a single speed external rotor complete with secondary
cooling impeller and class F windings, the
bearings are maintenance free sealed ball bearings with adequate
lubrication to ensure reliable operation for many years.
Connections
Two plug-in electrical connections are supplied, a three pin
socket for the power supply and a three pin plug for the output
supply. Note:- The output supply is 220/240 volt switch live only.
Flow Switch
The pressure switch has contacts which close with air flow and open in
the event of a fan failure. Note:- The pressure switch has an
interlock installed which ensures failsafe operation.
Time Delay
The fan has a built in pre purge (time delay) of approximately 30
seconds; this is to purge the boiler of any gasses before boiler
ignition. Gas fire models have no pre purge.
Installation and Maintenance
Full instructions on installation and operating come with the
unit. If service or repairs are required the working parts may be
removed as a sub assembly without disturbing the main case.
Finish
All units are constructed out of 1.2mm mill finish 304 stainless
steel.
