Description
The Roto Cowl is a revolving anti-downdraught chimney
cowl, designed to cure downdraught in chimneys.
The Roto Cowl can
be used on chimneys with appliances fired by gas, oil or solid
fuel.
The Roto Cowl is supplied with a
stainless steel strap band fixing kit, fitting instructions, and also includes an
adaptor plate (used when fixing the Roto Cowl to smaller diameter
chimneys) free of charge.
Please note, that as with all
revolving chimney cowls, the Roto Cowl is not a magic solution for
lack of updraught in your chimney stack, although it will help a
little when it's spinning

High Winds:- High wind areas can be a problem for
revolving chimney cowls, and we therefore generally do not recommend their use in
coastal areas or areas where there are regular high winds. However, if
you are going to use one, then the Vesta
Air Spinner is the one to go for. It's the most solid construction
of all the revolving chimney cowls. Otherwise, please consider using the Windkat, the
H Cowl, or a Vedette
cowl. Alternatively, budget choices for high wind areas would be the
Maxi Cowl, the Colt
Top All Purpose (with strap band fixing), or the
Mini Eurocowl.
