Technical Specification
The Aspiromatic is constructed from materials to resist attack from chemical
agents which may be present in the burnt gases and the atmosphere. It
comprises:-

A stainless steel
support fitted with stainless screws which adapts easily to all
types of chimney top

A pivot, mounted on ball
bearings specially designed to resist extremes of temperature; the
system is enclosed in a watertight area and protected by an oil
seal.

A rotating body
composing an assembly of stainless steel helicoidal blades, each
blade riveted to the circular base frame
Situation
Aspiromatic efficiency is not subject to wind direction and therefore
the cowl may be located in a variety of situations. Nevertheless,
because the cowl is driven by wind, its performance will be lower in the
case of protected conditions (small enclosed courtyards) and a maximum
under open conditions, exposed to prevailing winds.
