Town and Country Stoves Dealership Ended

We have received notice from Town and Country Stoves that they are restructuring their dealer network. As a result, we will no longer be able to supply these stoves once existing stocks are sold.

They say "We are unfortunately having to restructure our sales of products, due to advancing age. We are only a small company and are being overstretched, which means delays in supplying some of our stoves, causing many problems. So we are having to reduce our dealer network to a more manageable size ... "

We currently still have the Whisperdale, The Bransdale, the Glaisdale and the Priory in stock. Click the link for all wood burning stoves.

Although we are primarily a chimney products company, wood burning stove sales were still quite high, and we will be actively looking for another stove supplier.

New Register Plate Adaptor in Stock

Following on from the highly successful introduction of our 125mm (5") and 150mm (6") register plate adaptors, we have now introduced and increasing version of this product.

This model is designed for a 150mm (6") flexible liner when connecting to 125mm (5") stove pipe. The liner fits to the adaptor, the plate fits onto the register/debris plate and the stove pipe fits the underside.

The New Rotorvent Turbolite

We have had some more news on the new Rotorvent which we last mentioned here.

The new improved Rotorvent is to be called the Rotorvent Turbolite, and is set to come complete with a strap fixing kit as standard. Prices will be higher than the existing large Rotorvent, but not when you include the cost of the optional strap fixing kit (an additional cost on the existing model).

The new Rotorvent Turbolite is not set to replace the existing model however, and will be sold alongside it. The new model is on its way across the water and current estimates are for arrival in the 3rd or 4th week of February. We'll post of any changes between now and then.

Colt Cowls Price Increase

Colt Cowls have increased prices for 2008 for a number of their products including the Large Rotorvent, Small Rotorvent, Colt Top All Purpose, Colt Top 2 and the High Top Birdguard.

We have adjusted online prices for the large and small Rotorvent, and will amend the other products in the next few days. Increases on the other cowls are not large however.

We have received notification that prices for the Flueboost range of chimney fans are to increase.

They say, "In recent years we have attempted to keep our prices competitive but due to soaring cost increases in both raw materials and fuel we find ourselves unable to sustain our current prices."
